Hi, I’m Allie!
I’m originally from southern New Hampshire, but I also spent about six years in Burlington, Vermont, as a kid. Now I live in Central Massachusetts with my partner, Chris. I always told myself I would never live in Massachusetts, yet here I am. Funny how life works and how little it cares about the timeline you created as a high schooler.
Chris and I have been together for almost a decade, which is crazy when I say that out loud.
No kids. No pets. Although I am desperately trying on the pet front and still hoping the cat distribution system eventually finds me.
I’m usually out for a walk, planning our next trip, reading one more chapter, or watching something I probably shouldn’t be this invested in. I am obsessed with Love Island and will happily watch any cheesy rom-com show or Hallmark movie you put in front of me.
Chris and I travel a lot together, and we also travel quite a bit with our families. So you’ll find plenty of travel recaps and guides from the places we’ve actually visited, including what we loved, what we’d skip, and anything I wish I knew before we went.
Hopefully, something I share helps inspire or plan one of your future trips.
New England has always been home, so you’ll see a lot of it around here. But you’ll also find all the other places we travel, the books I’m reading, things I’m loving, and whatever else has been going on lately.
